Joe Owens is a prolific and versatile author whose work encompasses fiction, creative non-fiction, and screenwriting. He’s known for his compelling crime and true-crime fiction and mystery works and his ability to craft stories that are both thought-provoking and irresistible page-turners that captivate readers. 

After a life-changing cardiac event in his late 50s, he made the decision: to prioritize his health. Through daily runs and workouts, Joe didn’t just improve his heart—he revitalized his body, mind, and spirit. Joe shares his journey in Feelin’ Groovy, a vibrant guide to aging with energy, joy, and purpose. Not your typical fitness guide, the book is packed with humor, heart, and a healthy dose of irreverence. With relatable stories, pop-culture throwbacks, and playful jabs at Millennials, Joe delivers practical strategies to stay active, sharp, and fully alive.

Joe lives in Clearwater, Florida, devoting his time to writing, the beach, and charities that support the welfare of children and animals. He holds degrees in English Literature and Creative Writing from Temple University in Philadelphia, and York University in Toronto.
